CEF of Ponderosa Chapter Serving Central Oregon Since 1968

One of 18 CEF Chapters in the State of Oregon

Child Evangelism Fellowship is a Bible-centered, worldwide organization composed of born-again believers whose purpose is to evangelize boys and girls with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, disciple them in the Word of God and establish them in a Bible believing church family.

CEF of Ponderosa Chapter is governed by a local committee.  Missionary co-directors, Terry and Betty Edwards, oversee the work of Ponderosa Chapter CEF.  Phyllis Yankey joined the local ministry in November 2008 as Director of Training.  Each local chapter of Child Evangelism Fellowship, Inc. is responsible to raise the funds necessary to conduct the local ministry.  You can donate funds to Ponderosa Chapter/Child Evangelism Fellowship from this website or  mail a check/momey order to Ponderosa/CEF – P.O. Box 141, Gilchrist, OR  97737.  You will receive an IRS approved receipt once the funds are reported as being received.  Your help is greatly appreciated as we reach chidlren for Christ!

During the period July 2008 through August 2009, 1614 children were reached through local CEF ministries with 192 professing faith in Jesus Christ.   During the same period 119 Central Oregon adults and teens were trained by Ponderosa/CEF staff to reach children for Christ.  Ponderosa Chapter of CEF is able to continue reaching children for Christ through the faithful prayer and financial support of individuals, local churches, and businesses.

The goal of CEF of Ponderosa Chapter is to reach every child in Central Oregon with the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.   Accomplishing this goal will require:

  •  faithful saints volunteering of their time
  •  faithful saints praying
  •  faithful saints willing to support this ministry with their finances
